Yilin Verse
膏澤沐浴,洗去污辱。振除災咎,更與福處。
Rich waters bathe and cleanse, washing away shame and stain. Calamity and blame shaken off; renewed, one dwells in blessing.

Commentary
Wind over mountain descends to mountain over fire: gradual development adorns itself with Grace. Rich oils and warm waters cleanse the body, washing away stain and disgrace. Calamities and misfortunes are shaken off, and one is relocated to a blessed dwelling. The imagery is lustral, a ritual purification that transforms the person from polluted to pristine. From Development to Grace, the patient growth of the source hexagram finds its aesthetic completion. Fire at the mountain's foot illuminates without consuming, ornamenting the surface with warm light. Gradual cultivation of character, once refined, presents itself as natural beauty. The bath that washes away old shame is the final polish on years of steady inner work.
