注释
澤滅木，大過之象。赤帝懸車，廢職不朝——天子停車廢政，不再臨朝。叔帶之災，居于氾廬——此即王子帶之禍，王流寓氾地。叔帶為周襄王異母弟，前六三六年與狄人合謀攻周，襄王出奔鄭國。後晉文公出兵勤王，殺叔帶，襄王歸位。從大過至大壯（雷在天上），過載之中心被蠻力推翻——雷震天上，力量失控。然大壯「非禮弗履」之訓示：蠻力不合禮者終不久持。
