Commentary
A nestling cries for food; the mother bird flies out to forage. She returns to find an empty nest and sighs in endless grief. From Creative to Fellowship, heaven above fire should unite all under its brilliance — yet this verse shows the cost of fellowship attempted across absence. The mother's departure was an act of devotion, but her return reveals loss. The empty nest is the hollow center of a bond stretched too far. Fellowship's counsel is to classify and distinguish; here, the failure lies in not distinguishing between the urgency of feeding and the fragility of the nest. Love that ventures out may return to find its object gone.
