Yilin Verse
三翼飛來,是我逢時;俱行先至,多得大利。
Three winged ones fly to us; this is our moment of fortune. Traveling together, arriving first; we gain great profit.
— Jiao Yanshou, Yilin (Forest of Changes), 1st century BCE
Commentary
Heaven and fire form Fellowship, and here good timing multiplies success. Three winged creatures arrive together — this is my moment of fortune. Traveling in company, arriving first, gaining great profit. The verse is brisk and jubilant: auspicious omens appear in triplicate, timing aligns, and collective effort yields outsized reward. From Fellowship to Great Possession, the transformation is natural amplification. Fire blazes above heaven in Great Possession as the noble man suppresses evil and promotes good. Fellowship's shared endeavor, when it catches the right current, produces abundance — not through hoarding but through the momentum of aligned purpose arriving precisely when the world is ready.
