Commentary
Doubled fire meets fire blazing in heaven: brilliance amplifies into great possession. Children of a great tree share the same trunk and mother branch. Even when fire sweeps through, the branches and leaves grow more luxuriantly than before. The image draws on the natural phenomenon of fire-adapted trees that regenerate vigorously after burning, their root systems sending up new growth nourished by ash-enriched soil. The shared trunk represents a lineage or institution whose foundation is deep enough to survive catastrophe. From The Clinging to Great Possession, fire upon fire does not consume but catalyzes abundance. What seems destructive becomes generative when the root structure is sound, a vision of prosperity born precisely from the crucible of trial.
