Commentary
Wind upon wind transforms into fire over heaven: the Gentle becomes Great Possession. Tao Zhu and Bai Gui, master merchants who multiplied wealth through shrewd trading — Fan Li, who after helping Goujian destroy Wu retired to become the fabulously rich Tao Zhu Gong, and Bai Gui, the Warring States grain trader whom Sima Qian called the 'ancestor of managing livelihood.' Princes and nobles prosper without falling into poverty. From The Gentle to Great Possession, wind's persistent penetration finds its most worldly fulfillment. Fire blazing above heaven illuminates all — and here that brilliance is commercial acumen. The gentle art of reading markets, timing purchases, and compounding returns transforms patient observation into magnificent abundance.
