注释
澤上有地，臨之阻隔。夾河為婚——隔河訂婚；水長無船——水漲而無船可渡。遙心失望——心在遠處而失望；不見歡君——不得見心上之人。隔河之婚約已定，渡口卻已不可行——婚雖議而路不通。從臨至小過（山上有雷），湖之可近化為山頂雷鳴：小事可成，大事須待。詩中戀人正面臨此限：思念之小情可傳，團圓之大願未能遂。水漲之際不可強渡——可小過而不可大過。
