同載共車，中道別去。爵級不進，君子不興。
Sharing a cart, riding together; midway they part and go. Rank and office do not advance; the noble man does not prosper.

注释
天在山中，大畜蓄積之象。同載共車——同乘一車。中道別去——半途分道揚鑣。爵級不進——官爵不得晉升。君子不興——君子不能振興。此詩寫同行者半路分離，共同蓄積之力化為各奔東西。從大畜至小過（山上有雷），蓄積之力化為山上之微雷——小有過越。小過者，行過乎恭，喪過乎哀，用過乎儉。同車而行本是蓄積共力之象，中道分離則是小過——非大離大亂，僅是方向不同、志趣漸異。蓄積之合作若無共同之志，終不免中途而散。
