The startled sparrow carries thatch; to birth and nurse its young. Six brothers; handsome, respectful, and filial. Each sharing the same heart's wish; in harmony and joy together.

山上有澤，感應之動。驚雀衘茅——受驚之雀銜草築巢，生育哺養。昆弟六人，姣好悌孝——俊美友愛。各同心願，和悅相樂——由驚而安、由巢而家。從咸至小過（山上有雷），小過為行過乎恭、用過乎儉——凡事略過於謙。驚雀築巢、六兄弟之和皆為「過」於美好之小過——超出常情之善，正是小過之德。感通化為手足之情，略過於親密，恰好。
