黃鳥采菉，既嫁不荅。念我父兄，思復邦國。
The yellow bird gathers green herbs; once married, she receives no answer. Thinking of her father and brothers, she longs to return to her homeland.

注释
黃鳥采菉——嫁而不答，思念父兄，欲歸邦國。此取《詩經·小雅·黃鳥》之意，客居異鄉而不見容之悲歎。乾至坎，水洊至，習坎之象。君子以常德行，習教事。新嫁之婦孤立無援，恰如坎之重險：四面危水，與親族隔絕，夫家毫無回應。天之剛健墜入至深之水，思鄉之念為重重險境中唯一的恆心所繫。坎卦以信為亨通之道，然此詩中之信只是對故國父兄的一縷思念，飄零水上而已。
