上天下澤，豐收之象。五利四福，俱佃高邑。黍稷盛茂，多獲藁稻。農事指標皆指向繁榮——地力豐厚，時節相宜，勞作有成。從履至歸妹，澤上有雷：少女歸嫁，詩中農豐即其嫁資。耕作得法則有餘裕以成家室。履之謹慎行止於此化為田間之勤勉，田間之豐收又為新家庭奠基。永終知敝，不忘本源，此歸妹之智也。
