天地交泰，安泰之象。原詩點名伯夷叔齊，孤竹國二子，義不食周粟，餓死首陽山。《史記·伯夷列傳》載其事。二人以貞廉為師，以德防患，故憂禍不存。節操既立於內，外邪無從侵入。從泰至乾，天行健之象：真正自強不息之力非外在秩序所賦，乃道德自修所生。伯夷叔齊之守死善道，正應乾卦剛健不已之德——清白自守，即為生生不息之根本。
