天地交泰，然身在異鄉不得歸。久客無床——長年旅居，無安身之所。思歸我鄉，然雷雨涌盈，道路斷絕。此詩寫旅人之困境：思鄉之情最切時，恰逢歸路不通。風雨阻隔，進退兩難。從泰至小畜（風行天上），風欲畜天之大力而未能盡——雲氣積聚而雨未全降。小畜之象正合此境：歸心已動，路途可想，然時勢未開，尚需等待。蓄而未發，正是旅人徘徊之寫照。
