上九 傾否。先否後喜。
Nine at the top means: The standstill comes to an end. First standstill, then good fortune.

注释
天地不交，否塞之世。原詩「名成德就，項領不試」——功業已成而壯志未酬。景公耋老——齊景公登牛山而泣，感壽命之有限；尼父逝去——孔子於魯辭世，大道終未行於天下。二者皆「德就」而「不試」，才未盡用而歲月已盡。從否至屯（雲雷交作），封閉之世化為初生之混沌。偉人功成之際，所迎非太平而為萬物草創之動盪——成就消融於新世代的風雷之中，令人感慨時不我待。
