Nine at the top means: He is blessed by heaven. Good fortune. Nothing that does not further.

方船備水，旁河然火；終身無禍。
Boats lashed together guard against flood; fire kept along the riverbank. To the end of life, no calamity.

注释
方船備水，旁河然火——備舟以防洪，燃火以禦暗，終身無禍。此為備患之喻：水之患以舟應之，暗之患以火驅之，周全防備則一生平安。從大有至謙（地中有山），天上之火降入地下之山。由極顯轉為自隱，大有之盛化為謙之蓄。此詩中備患之人恰合謙卦之理：靜默周全，不露鋒芒而萬全無失。裒多益寡、稱物平施——將豐盈轉化為謙遜之備，方得終身無禍。
