地中有山，謙之象。北辰紫宮，天極之樞，萬象繞之而行。衣冠端正，立於中央，含和建德，常受大福——此乃居中守正、以德配天之理想。然鈆刀攻玉，堅不可得——以鉛鑄刀欲治堅玉，器不稱材，必無所獲。從謙至坤，重地之象，厚德載物。然坤之道在順，不在強。居天極而守德者自受其福；以不稱之器強求其功者徒勞無功。坤德之成在柔順以應天，非以蠻力相搏。
