Six in the third place means: If one clings to the strong man, One loses the little boy. Through following one finds what one seeks. It furthers one to remain persevering.
第上爻
上六 拘係之。乃從維之。王用亨于西山。
Six at the top means: He meets with firm allegiance And is still further bound. The king introduces him To the Western Mountain.

鼻目易處，不知香臭；君迷於事，失其寵位。
Nose and eyes switched places; one cannot tell fragrance from stench. The lord, confused in his affairs, loses his favored position.

注释
澤中有雷，隨之象也。鼻目易處，感官錯位，不知香臭——此為政治寓言：治者喪失辨識之能，則昏於事理。君既迷於政事，寵位不保。古典譬喻以感官倒置喻治道昏亂：不能嗅出身邊之腐敗者，終為所棄。從隨至乾（天行健），隨之柔順本應生發乾之自強不息，然感知既亂，天道之剛健無從施展，權勢遂如流水逝去。
