澤上有地，臨之雄圖。員怨之吳——伍員（伍子胥）懷父兄之仇奔吳；畫策闔閭——為吳王闔閭謀劃大計。鞭平服荊——鞭楚平王之屍，降服荊楚；除大咎殃——去除大患。威震敵國，還受上卿。據《史記》，伍子胥父兄為楚平王所殺，逃吳助闔閭奪位，前五〇六年入楚都掘平王墓，鞭屍三百。從臨至泰（天地交），毀滅性之復仇反而恢復宇宙均衡——天降地升，受屈者之怒火化為重建秩序之器。
