澤上有地，臨之養育。蝗螟為賊——蝗蟲與螟蟲為害如盜賊；傷害稼穡——損害莊稼穀物。愁飢於年——整年憂愁饑饉；農夫鮮食——農夫食物匱乏。蟲害體現恆之暗面：自然循環之持續不懈包含破壞之循環。蝗蟲年復一年以機械般之規律回歸。從臨至恆（雷風恆），長者之慷慨供養遭遇自然之冷漠重複。雷風相與，永不止息——然永續亦包含災禍之永續。農夫之困境揭示：無干預之持續不過是延長的受苦，恆常之道包含荒歉一如包含豐收。
