Craning the neck, gazing far; squinting makes the eyes ache. Not seeing the younger sister; the elder brother’s heart is filled with worry.

注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。延頭遠望，眯為目疾——引頸遠眺，因過度眺望而目痛。不見叔姬，使伯心憂——見不到妹妹，令兄長憂心。天下雷行，物與無妄——萬物各得其正，純然無偽。無妄者，至誠無妄，先王以茂對時育萬物。此詩寫無妄之情：兄之念妹，出於至親之真情，無半分機心。然真情不必然順遂——距離所阻，目力所限，真心亦有不能及之時。從坤至無妄，大地之質樸化為天真之渴望：既無偽飾亦無機巧，唯有誠心受阻之苦。
