注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。自衛反魯，時不我與——自衛國返回魯國，然而時勢不利於我。冰炭異室，仁道隔塞——冰與炭各處一室，不可相容；仁義之道被阻隔。此典指孔子周遊列國後返魯之嘆。據《史記·孔子世家》，孔子自衛反魯，嘆「時不我與」。冰炭異室喻聖人與亂世不可同處。山下有雷，頤之象：君子以慎言語，節飲食。頤者，養也。從坤至頤，大地之滋養化為養而不得之困：聖人欲以仁道養天下，而天下拒其所養。孔子反魯猶如食物無人肯食，道之窮也。
