地勢坤,厚德載物。白駒生芻,猗猗盛姝——白駒食鮮嫩之草,猗猗然美好茂盛。赫喧君子,樂以忘憂——光彩煥發之君子,樂而忘憂。此引《詩經·小雅·白駒》:「皎皎白駒,食我場苗」——賢客來訪,以草留之。白駒喻賢才,芻草喻主人之誠意款待。隨風,巽之象:君子以申命行事。巽者,入也,以柔和之力深入。從坤至巽,大地之草為留客之媒——駒食芻而留,客感誠而安。巽之力不在強制而在感化:以所供養者之美好使賢者自願停留,如風之入物,不覺而已深。
