注释
地勢坤，厚德載物。皇陛九重，絕不可登——帝王之階九層，不可攀登。未見王公，謂天蓋高——不得見君主，便以為天高不可測。從坤至師（地中有水），地中藏水，表面平靜而下有暗流。師者，眾也，以紀律統御萬民。九重之陛既是阻隔亦是秩序：坤之臣民仰望權力之巔，距離既遙不可及，便將人間之等級想像為天地之懸殊。坤德在順，順則知分守位，不妄攀而安其所。
