電雷噬嗑，明罰之象。天干甲戊己庚隨時運行，不失常節，達性任情，各樂其類。天干循環即漢代宇宙論之時序體系：甲屬木、戊己屬土、庚屬金，五行遞嬗。萬物各遂其性，自然守序。從噬嗑至坤（地勢坤），刑罰之威化為大地之厚德。昔須雷電明罰方能正者，今以坤道柔順自行其序——至深之秩序無須強制，萬物已各安其分。
