A bird cries, seizing its fledgling, longing to fly away; hopping along the branch, up and down -- it meets the wind by chance. Tumbling down to the tree's roots, its fate cannot be saved.

電雷噬嗑，明罰之卦。鳥鳴捕鷇，長欲飛去——母鳥呼喚雛鳥，急欲展翅。循枝上下，適與風遇——雛鳥攀枝躍動，恰遇狂風。顛隕樹根，命不可救。羽翼未豐而遇風摧，時機未至而強飛，遂成悲劇。從噬嗑至明夷（明入地中），日入地中，光明被傷。雛鳥之隕即明夷之象：光明未及綻放即被吞沒。時機不對、準備不足，再好之才亦折翼於風中。
