百足俱行，相輔為強。三聖翼事，王室寵光。
Dead trees lean on each other, wind and snow cannot break them. Their roots connect underground, drinking from the same spring vein.

注释
山附於地為剝，天在山中為大畜。原詩「百足俱行，相輔為強」——百足蟲同步而行，相互扶持方成其力。「三聖翼事，王室寵光」——三聖輔翼大業，王室蒙恩。「三聖」多解為周公、太公、召公，共同輔佐周室初立之業。從剝至大畜，崩塌之山化為蓄天之山。剝之失序轉為畜之蓄積——三聖以集體之德畜養王業，「多識前言往行以畜其德」。百足之喻尤妙：非一人之力而是眾志之合，方能於剝蝕之後重建穩固之基。
