A hundred streams flow toward the sea, coursing without cease. Though the road be long and far, there is none that does not arrive.

注释
山附於地為剝，澤滅木為大過。百川朝海，流行不止——百條河川奔向大海，流動不息。路雖遼遠，無不到者——道路雖遠，無有不至之理。大過卦象為澤滅木，棟橈之危，然此詩取其「過」之另一面：超越常規之力量，非危而是勢不可擋之匯聚。從剝至大過，山之崩解釋放其質為流動之水。固者化液，定者化行。百川無須認可亦無須指引，只需堅持其方向。「獨立不懼，遁世無悶」——大過之君子如百川，不因路遠而止，不因無人知而改其向。
