已動死連。商子揚沙，石流狐狢。擾軍鼓振，吏士恐落。
Already stirred, death follows. The Shang prince raises a sandstorm; stones flow, foxes and badgers scatter. The army's drums pound and shake; officers and soldiers tremble in dread.

注释
山附於地為剝，山上有木為漸。「已動死連」——一動則死隨之。「商子揚沙」——商人之子揚起風沙。「石流狐狢」——石塊滾落，狐狸奔逃。「擾軍鼓振」——擾亂軍營。「吏士恐落」——官吏兵士驚恐。據注解，艮為砂石狐狢，巽為商賈為風，互坎為恐懼。商人之沙塵干擾軍陣——民間混亂滲入軍事紀律。從剝至漸，山之剝蝕本應滋養山上之木，使之循序漸進。然此處山化為風中飛沙，掩埋而非滋養。漸之有序進展被突然崩潰所吞沒。
