重黎祖後，司馬太史——重黎為上古火正，其後裔世掌天文與記史之職。司馬遷於《史記·太史公自序》中自述其族源自重黎。然陸氏之災，雕害悲苦——同族遭禍，殘酷深痛。從無妄至離（明兩作），變化追蹤一脈血統由司火之聖職至史官之殉難。離卦雙火，明照四方而火亦焚人。受託記錄真實之族——一種極致之無妄——以苦難償付其忠誠。光明附著於見證者，而照見之危險亦然。
