堯舜欽明，禹稷股肱。伊尹往來，進禮登堂。顯德之徒，可以輔王。
Yao and Shun, reverent and wise; Yu and Ji, their sturdy limbs. Yi Yin went back and forth; presenting rites, ascending the hall. Followers of illustrious virtue; able to assist the king.

堯舜欽明，禹稷股肱——堯舜以敬明治天下，禹與后稷為其股肱重臣。伊尹往來，進禮登堂——伊尹奔走於君臣之間，獻禮升堂。顯德之徒，可以輔王——有德之人方可輔佐君王。從無妄至井（木上有水），變化將聖治映射為取之不竭之源。井卦水由木升，井養不窮，為道德領袖之永恆資源。堯之識、舜之謙、禹之勤、稷之農、伊尹之謀，聖王賢臣列序，共同體現井之原理：真正之領導滋養所治而不竭。
