天在山中，大畜蓄力之象。欒子作殃——晉國欒氏家族自招禍殃。欒書雖權傾一時，弒厲公而立悼公，然其後人終遭覆滅。伯氏誅傷——伯宗為三郤所害。州犂奔楚——伯宗之子伯州犁逃至楚國，後亦為楚靈王所殺。失其寵光——世族之榮一朝盡喪。從大畜至同人（天與火），蓄積之勢化為光天之下之結盟。然同人之道在於以公心聚人，若以私怨積仇，則所蓄之力反為滅族之因。
