天地閉塞，仁智隱伏。商旅不行，利深難得。
Heaven and earth are closed and blocked; the benevolent and the wise lie hidden. Merchants do not travel; profit is deep but hard to obtain.

注释
天在山中，大畜蓄積之象。天地閉塞——天地不交，否之象也。仁智隱伏——仁者智者皆隱遁不出。商旅不行——商人無法行旅。利深難得——利益雖有而深不可取。從大畜至坎（水洊至），蓄積之力化為重重險陷。坎者，維心亨，行有尚——心通則亨，然行路艱險。此詩直引「天地閉塞」之辭，寫極端封閉之世。蓄積愈厚而出路愈無，智者唯有隱伏以待。深水之下有利可圖，然非貿然可得，須以誠心涉險、待時而動。
