The wild goose stole my coat; it fled to the mountain's edge. Its tracks of valor are nowhere found; the elder brother's heart is filled with worry.

注释
天在山中，大畜蓄積之象。鴻盜我襦——鴻雁偷走我的短衣。逃於山隅——逃至山角。不見武迹——追蹤不見蹤跡。使伯心憂——令兄長憂心。鴻雁在古典意象中為傳信之鳥，此處卻為竊物之賊，逃入蓄積之山而無影無蹤。追之不得，徒增憂慮。從大畜至兌（麗澤），蓄積之力化為雙澤之悅。兌者，朋友講習之樂。然此詩之中無樂可言：所蓄被竊，追索無果，兄長空憂。當所蓄之物流失而不可追回，悅樂之象反成虛設。
