Setting nets and spreading snares, catching fish in the garden pond. The mesh tears of itself; though caught, they are lost again. The peril of desperate accusation; one suffers its low pleasures.

注释
水洊至，坎之重險，漁人張羅之功自行瓦解。設網張羅於園池之中，然網罟自決——所得復失，獲而旋脫。繼而危訴之患臨身，歡樂化為屈辱。此詩自過度張設而經喪失而至羞辱，步步下行。從坎至益（風雷益），風雷當相輔以增益——君子見善則遷，有過則改。然此詩示益之陰影：以有缺之器貪多反失。自破之網正是準備不足之野心的象徵。
