Nine at the top means: The king uses him to march forth and chastise. Then it is best to kill the leaders And take captive the followers. No blame.

明兩作離，火明入坤土之中，光明歸於沉靜厚載。春秋二祭，禱祝於宗廟社稷，以解過失、消除憂患，合乎天時之節律則君子無咎。此非特指一事，乃泛言四時行禮、順應天道之功效：人力有限，唯以虔敬之心配合自然之序，方能化厄為安。從離至坤，地勢坤，厚德載物：火之照耀轉化為大地之承受，不以力破憂，以順時之虔敬化解之。守禮循時，敬畏不怠，自然災厄遠離，此即離火入坤土之正道。
