注释
明兩作離，火入澤上有雷之歸妹。南至之日——冬至之日，太陽行至最南。陽消不息——陽氣消退不止。北風烈寒——北風凜冽。萬物伏藏——萬物蟄伏。冬至為陽極而衰之時，「南至」看似火之極盛，實為轉衰之始。從離至歸妹，永終知敝：歸妹為不可逆之嫁，如冬至之必至。離火行至南極而衰，如少女出嫁不可返。此為火之宿命——至明即暗，至南即北。萬物伏藏非死而是蟄，然對離火而言，此刻之寒冷不可迴避。
