注释
山上有澤，感應天道。天厭周德——天命轉移，周德已衰。命與南國——天命南授，或指楚之興起。以禮靜民——以禮儀安撫百姓。兵革休息——干戈止息。此為典型之天命轉移敘事：舊朝德衰，天眷新主，而新主以禮治而非武力立國。從咸至蹇（山上有水），感應化為蹇難之象。蹇之道為反身修德——遇阻而自省。此處新受命者面對蹇難之局，不以兵戈強行，而以禮儀化解。感通之道在此為天命與人德之共鳴——天授命於能以德應之者。
