雷風恆，持行之象。九登十陟——反覆攀登。馬跌不前——馬失足而不能前行。管子佐之——管仲來相助。乃能上山——方能登上山頂。此詩或指齊桓公北伐孤竹之事，軍行迷途，管仲獻計「老馬識途」方得脫困。九登十陟極言路途之艱，馬跌則恆行已至極限。從恆至姤（天下有風），姤者遇也，不期而遇。恆行至窮途時，偶遇賢者之助乃轉機所在。管仲之佐非偶然，乃恆德所感召——持久努力者終遇貴人相助。
