雷在天上，大壯以非禮弗履為戒，然君不明德，臣亂為惑，上下皆昏。「丞相命馬」即趙高指鹿為馬之典——以絕對權勢扭曲真偽，群臣噤聲，莫敢異議。胡亥失所，秦二世昏昧無能，國柄盡歸趙高，終被逼弒。從大壯至需，雲上於天：飲食宴樂以待時機。然國君昏聵而不自知，權臣僭越而無人止，等待化為空耗，壯力被竊而非被用。不明德者雖居至尊亦如無主之器，任人擺佈。
