明入地中，天地交泰。「切切之患」——憂慮迫切；然「凶憂不成」——禍事不成。「虎不敢齚」——猛虎不敢咬噬，「利當我身」——福利歸於自身。虎不能害人之象，呼應履卦「履虎尾不咥人」，然此處之意更為直接：最壞之情境不會發生。從明夷至泰，乃全循環中最具希望之變化。天地交通，上下相濟，黑暗中滋生之恐懼盡失其傷害之力。明夷之晦暗一旦遇泰之暢達，萬物通泰，患難自消。
