Cultivated bamboo stands straight, never bending. Where a pure breeze passes, waves rise naturally. Virtuous conduct spreads beyond a thousand mountains — a hundred birds return to the forest, circling the trees.

注释
風自火出，家人之德遠播。原詩云：「恭寬信敏，功加四海；辟去不祥，喜來從母。」恭、寬、信、敏四德，呼應《論語》治世之道。此四德行於家內，則澤被四海，不祥遠避，吉慶隨母道而至。「從母」或指母性之養育秩序。從家人至觀，風行地上，先王省方觀民設教。此變化在於視野之擴展：家庭之德持之以恆，便成為天下可觀可效之範式。家，即是一部無聲之教。
