上火下澤，睽之象也。馨香之祭上下升降往還，明德光華感動天地神明。社神垂顧佑護，授命大鄰——「命予大鄰」為受天命之莊嚴語辭，可解作商湯或周人承天命受封之敘事。以禮樂馨香、德行光明感召神靈降福，此即聖王受命之正道。從睽至蒙（山下出泉），對立之勢化為啟蒙之源：明德消弭分裂，如山下泉水潺潺而出，以果行育德，引導蒙昧歸於正道而不迷。
