注释
地中生木，升之象。金城鐵郭，上下同力——城如金鑄、郭如鐵鍛，上下一心同德。政平民親，寇不敢賊——治政公平而民心歸附，盜寇不敢侵犯。「金城鐵郭」為堅不可摧之經典比喻，其堅固非在城牆之厚，而在上下同心之固。電雷為噬嗑（先王以明罰勅法），除去阻礙、明正典刑之象。從升至噬嗑，積小高大之升化為穩固一體之治理——道德權威之長年累積造就上下同力之政體，外患尚未至而已消弭於無形。升之木化為金鐵之城，柔長成剛不可破。
