反言為賊，戎女生患。亂吾家國，父子相賊。

注释
地中生木，升之象。反言為賊，戎女生患——虛假之言化為利刃，來自戎狄之女生出禍端。亂吾家國，父子相賊——家國俱亂，父子反目成仇，互相殘害。「戎女」禍國之典型，如晉獻公之驪姬以讒言離間父子、禍亂朝政，或褒姒之烽火戲諸侯致西周傾覆。麗澤為兌（君子以朋友講習），兩澤相連、朋友切磋之象。從升至兌，上升本應達於相悅共學之境，然讒言毒化喜樂——雙澤不成共學之池，反為父子互戕之淵。升而入兌，喜反為禍，言反為賊。
