注释
木上有水，井為不動之中心，天子據此而行令。東行述職，征討不服，侵齊伐陳——征伐不順之邦國。衝璧為臣——敗者銜璧而降，此為古代表示完全臣服之禮，口中含璧以示歸順之誠。大得意還——凱旋而歸，威德兼施。從井至小畜（風行天上），風之力柔而持久，以懿文德化育天下。井之穩固資源支撐遠征，而小畜之風以柔化剛：非以暴力征服，乃以持續之德行感化，使遠人來服、叛者歸心。征伐雖以兵行，歸服終以德成。
