澤中有火，革之象也。求麞嘉鄉，惡地不行。道止中遷，復反其床。澤上於地，萃之象也。欲往佳鄉獵麝，卻嫌惡地難行。半途改道，終返舊床。萃卦之聚本需眾人匯集，然此人因路途不佳而中途折返。獵物在嘉鄉，然通往嘉鄉之路必經惡地——知難而退者終無所聚。從革至萃，變革後之凝聚需要妥協與堅持：聚集之地雖美，往路必艱。半途而廢者，空手歸家。
