灼火泉原，釣魴山巔。魚不可得，炭不可燃。
Lighting a fire at the spring's source, angling for bream on the mountaintop. The fish cannot be caught; the charcoal cannot be burned.

注释
澤中有火，革之象也。灼火泉原，釣魴山巔。魚不可得，炭不可燃。兼山為艮，知止之象也。於泉源處生火——水滅之；於山頂上釣魚——魚不在焉。炭不能燃，魴不可得。一切行動南轅北轍，從根本上便錯。艮卦之智在於知止、知位，然此人完全顛倒施為之處。從革至艮，變革之後若不知何處著力，則盲目行動反不如靜止。山之所以不動，非因無力，乃因知其所在。不知所在而妄動者，勞而無功。
