雲上於天，需之蓄養。卷領遁世，仁德不舍——衣領卷束、退隱林泉之人，然仁德之心不捨不棄。三聖攸同，周家茂興——三聖同心，周室由此大興。「三聖」多解為文王、武王、周公：文王積德，武王伐紂，周公制禮——三代聖人同歸一志，奠定周朝八百年基業。從需至震（洊雷震），等待之養化為雷霆之震動：隱德蓄積至不可遏制，如雷蟄伏地中終須破土而出，震醒天下。隱退非消極，乃積蓄震動之能。
