上六 震索索。視矍矍。征凶。震不于其躬。于其鄰。无咎。婚媾有言。

洊雷震動，山下有澤為損。翕翕䡘䡘——咯吱作響、搖搖欲墜。稍頹崩顛——漸漸崩塌傾覆。減其令名，身不得全——好名聲毀盡，性命亦不保。擬聲之詞寫結構崩壞之過程：非驟然倒塌，而是緩慢碾磨之瓦解。先損名，後損身。從震至損（山下有澤），下者損以益上——然此處之轉移純為破壞。非自願之犧牲以益高者，乃被迫之剝奪——從聲望到生命，一一消蝕。懲忿窒欲之道，此處已不可追。
