注释
兼山為艮，陰氣滋生麞鹿於谷中。鼠舞鬼谷——鼠於幽暗之處嬉戲。靈龜陸處——神龜離水擱淺於陸。自然之兆皆失序：動物處於不當之所，靈龜離水則無法行卜。漢代以龜之靈驗繫於水，陸上之龜無力施為。從艮至晉（明出地上），山化為火出地上之進。晉為光明上升之象，然詩中錯位之生靈暗示進展已亂。火出地面照見的不是秩序，而是一群慌亂之異獸。
